Who writes our reviews
Our reviews and buying guides are produced and maintained by the Pianova editorial team - UK-based digital piano researchers who compare every product on the things that actually matter, not the marketing claims on the box.
How we research
- Verified specifications taken from the manufacturer and cross-checked - never invented or guessed.
- Genuine owner feedback from thousands of verified UK purchases, to see how each digital piano holds up in real homes over time.
- Category knowledge of what separates a good digital piano from a frustrating one.
How we score
Each digital piano gets an editorial "Our score" that weighs build quality, performance, ease of use, reliability and value for money. The score reflects merit only - a brand cannot pay to rank higher, and the size of any commission never influences it.
How we rank
Our best-of guides order products on that editorial score, then re-check rankings as ratings and models change. Where a popular product has real drawbacks, we say so plainly.
What we will not do
- We do not invent specifications or test results.
- We do not let brands buy features, rankings or softer reviews.
- We do not recommend a digital piano we would not suggest to a friend.
